Grid travel-time tracing: accuracy comparison of several methods

Ludek Klimes

Summary

Accuracy of the grid travel-time tracing methods proposed by Vidale (1988), Van Trier & Symes (1991), Pusey & Vidale (1991), Podvin & Lecomte (1991), Klimes & Kvasnicka (1994), and Klimes (1996) for the calculation of the first-arrival travel times is compared in simple constant velocity gradient models.

Keywords
