and Moser Geophysical Services organize a workshop
"ACTIVE AND PASSIVE SEISMICS IN LATERALLY INHOMOGENEOUS MEDIA"
to be held on June 8-12, 2015,
at Loučeň Castle
in the Czech Republic.
The workshop follows the 77th Annual Meeting of EAGE in Madrid, 1 - 4 June 2015.
The workshop will be held at the
Loučeň Castle.
The Castle is
located about 50 km to the north-east of Prague.
The accommodation will be
provided mostly in single rooms with own bathroom.
The food will be served in the Castle Restaurant.
The fee for a participant will be EUR 550 if received in full before February 15, 2015, EUR 700 afterwards. The fee will include registration fee, full board and accommodation for 5 days in the Castle, social activities and conference materials. For an accompanying person, the same fee will apply. If you wish to come with your children, please contact the organizers. Several partial grants to support the participation of students are available, please contact the organizers.
The fee can be paid by credit card. Please fill and sign the Credit Card Payment Form (available in RTF or PDF format) and send it to us by e-mail, fax or mail. We apologize that the University is recently unable to accept the credit cards online.

Transportation between Prague and the Loučeň Castle will be provided
on Monday, June 8, 2015 and Saturday, June 13, 2015.

Oral presentations should be in English; no simultaneous translation will be provided. The oral presentation should not be longer than 20 minutes, 5 minutes after it are reserved for a discussion. One PC screen projector will be available.
As announced in the first circular, in addition to the sessions with oral
presentations, a poster session will also be organized.
The posters should be prepared in English.
Detailed information about the size of the posters will
be available in the 3rd circular.
Participants are kindly asked to send two files with a one-page abstract
of their contribution to the contact e-mail given below by April 1, 2015.
One file should be a PDF or PostScript file,
the other should be an ASCII (text) file containing the text from the PDF/PostScript file.
The title should be typed centered in the boldface
capital letters. On the next line, author(s)' names, with the speaker's name
underlined, should be typed.
Papers presented at the workshop will be published in a special issue of the
journal
Studia Geophysica et Geodaetica.
(5-year IF: 0.977 in 2013). The reviewing process will be the
same as for regular papers, i.e., each contribution will be reviewed by two reviewers.
Papers requiring further modifications after the second round of reviewing will
not be included in the special issue.
The deadline for submitting papers in the
form required by SGG will be agreed on during the Workshop.
A tour of the Castle, a concert in the Castle, a half-day tour to the surrounding
of the Castle, barbecue garden party and other activities are planned.
If there is sufficient interest, we may organize
a programme for accompanying persons.
