"ACTIVE AND PASSIVE SEISMICS IN LATERALLY INHOMOGENEOUS MEDIA II"
and
"19th INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON SEISMIC ANISOTROPY"
to be held on May 30 - June 3, 2022
at Želiv Premonstratensian Monastery
in the Czech Republic.
The workshop follows the EAGE 2022 Annual Conference, which is announced to be held in Madrid from June 5 to 9 2022.
The workshop will be held at the
Želiv Monastery Hotel.
The Monastery is
located about 90 km to the south-east of Prague.
The accommodation will be
provided mostly in single rooms with private bathroom.
Food will be served in the Monastery Restaurant.
Those interested in participation in the workshop are kindly requested to fill in
the online registration form.
The accommodation capacity of the Želiv Premonstratensian Monastery is limited,
therefore sooner applications have a greater chance to be accepted.
The fee for a participant will be EUR 650 if received in full before March 31, 2022, EUR 750 afterwards. The fee includes registration fee, full board and accommodation for 4 days in the Monastery (Monday dinner to Friday breakfast), social activities and conference materials. For an accompanying person, the same fee will apply. Several partial grants to support the participation of students are available, please contact the organizers.

In case that it will not be possible to organize the workshop due to the restrictions connected with the corona virus pandemy,
we will offer, similarly as in the last years, full refund the fee.
Bus transportation between Prague and the Želiv Monastery will be provided
on Monday afternoon, May 30, 2022; and Friday morning, June 3, 2022.

Oral presentations should be in English; no simultaneous translation will be provided. The time for oral presentations will be announced in the 3rd circular. Each presentation will be followed by 5 minutes reserved for a discussion. One PC screen projector will be available.
Poster session will not be organized.
Participants are kindly asked to send a one- or two-page abstract
of their contribution to the contact e-mail given below.
PDF or PostScript file format is preferred.
The title should be typed centered in the boldface
capital letters. On the next line, author(s)' names, with the speaker's name
underlined, should be typed. 10 pt fonts are recommended.
In case you have already submitted an abstract, this can still be used, or updated as you wish.
Papers presented at the workshop will be published in a Special Issue in an internationally
established journal. We propose to publish in the journal
Studia Geophysica et Geodaetica
(5-year IF: 1.116 in 2018).
The selection of the journal for proceedings
will be agreed during the Workshop.
The reviewing process will be the same as for regular papers,
i.e., each contribution will be reviewed by two reviewers.
Papers requiring further modifications after the second round of reviewing
will not be included in the special issue.
The deadline for submitting papers will be also agreed during the Workshop.
A tour of the Monastery, a concert in the Monastery Church, a tour of Monastery Brewery,
a half-day tour to the surrounding of the Monastery (probably the UNESCO town Telč),
barbecue garden party and other activities are planned.
If there is sufficient interest, we may organize
a programme for accompanying persons.
