The Consortium "Seismic Waves in Complex 3-D Structures", Charles University in Prague, together with Seismik s.r.o. and Moser Geophysical Services organize a workshop "ACTIVE AND PASSIVE SEISMICS IN LATERALLY INHOMOGENEOUS MEDIA" to be held on June 8-12, 2015, at Loučeň Castle in the Czech Republic. The workshop follows the 77th Annual Meeting of EAGE in Madrid, 1 - 4 June 2015.
We will organize a bus from Prague Airport to Loučeň and back. Scheduled departure from Prague Airport is on Monday 8.6. at 16:30. On the way to Loučeň the bus will stop at Prague city centre, probably at Metro station Dejvická. If needed and requested by multiple participants, the departure of the bus can be slightly delayed. Please, let us know if you plan to use the bus and if so, the time of your arrival and the flight number.
Scheduled departure from Loučeň is on Saturday 13.6., 9:00 (am), and the bus should arrive to the Airport well before 11:00. The bus will stop at the Prague city centre, probably at Metro station Dejvická. The time schedule and route can be changed, assuming that a general consensus is found.
Final information about the transportation will be given in the Fourth Circular to be issued by the end of May.
Oral presentations should be in English; no simultaneous translation will be provided. The oral presentation should not be longer than 25 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for a discussion and speaker changes. One PC screen projector will be available.
Posters should be also in English.
The poster board size is 145 cm (vertical) x 95 cm (horizontal).
The poster session will start with a short oral introduction (maximum 5 minutes) to each of the presented posters, the authors of posters may prepare a short presentation (about 1 to 5 slides).

If there is sufficient interest, we may organize
a programme for accompanying persons.
We will discuss this personally with the involved accompanying persons.
The fee for a participant is EUR 700. The fee will includes registration fee, full board and accommodation for 5 days in the Castle, social activities and conference materials. For an accompanying person, the same fee will applies. If you wish to come with your children, please contact the organizers.

Papers presented at the workshop will be published in a special issue of the
journal
Studia Geophysica et Geodaetica.
(5-year IF: 0.977 in 2013). The reviewing process will be the
same as for regular papers, i.e., each contribution will be reviewed by two reviewers.
Papers requiring further modifications after the second round of reviewing will
not be included in the special issue.
The deadline for submitting papers in the
form required by SGG will be agreed on during the Workshop.
4th circular will be issued by the end of May 2015.
